Alexandria's Everyday Glam Makeup Tutorial

Brown eyeliner is good to use for more natural and everyday looks. This tutorial teaches you how to use brown eyeliner to compliment a nude eyeshadow look. You can complete this look before you apply the rest of your makeup or after, it's all about preference. Personally, I like to do my eyes last. So in these photos I already have the rest of my makeup done.

Below are the steps that compliment the photo tutorial. I also included the products I used, but please use any products you feel comfortable with or already have!

Steps:

1. Prime your eyes. I used the 'Original' Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion.

2. On a large all over shadow brush, set the primer with a bright colored eyeshadow, like 'Decade' from the KKWxMario palette.

3. Using a pointed crease brush, put a color that matches the shade you use to contour in your crease to create depth. You can directly use your contour powder or you can use an eyeshadow shade. I used the shade 'Miami' from the KKWxMario palette.

4. Add a small amount of a dark brown shade to create dimension. Use a pointed crease brush to focus the color on the outer corner. I used the shade 'Loyalty' from the KKWxMario palette.

5. Dampen a flat brush with setting spray or even water for an ultimate shine. Then add a gold shimmer shade to your lid, like 'Glam' from the KKWxMario palette.

6. Apply brown eyeliner to your eyelid. The type of eyeliner you use and style of line you add is up to you. I used the 'Brown' liquid Kyliner from Kylie Cosmetics to make a subtle wing.

7. Curl your eyelashes, then apply mascara. For a natural look only use one layer of mascara, for a more dramatic look use 2-3 layers of mascara. I used the 'Very Black' Lash Stiletto mascara from Maybelline.

8. Tightline your waterline with a brown eyeliner. I used the 'Brown' Kyliner from Kylie Cosmetics.

9. Go back to the contour shade you used in step 3 and apply that underneath the brown waterline with a small smudger brush. And you are done!
